While in Seminary, I was studying the Bible from the beginning, and for the first time I noticed so many stories of adoption in Scripture. Beginning with the adoption of Moses, scripture shows us that adoption is truly the heart of God to redeem brokenness in families. Out of that was born Second Mother, which has now been published in several languages. Women around the world are eager to learn more about what God has to say about the life they have chosen. In 2010, I was overwhelmed with all I DIDN’T KNOW when I adopted my children Agnes, Ruth and Nathan from Uganda. Along with Agnes, I wrote a little book of all my mistakes. My daughter also shared her story, and some of my mistakes also! Now much older, Agnes has launched her own writing, speaking and mission trip ministry, called Jeremiah 29:11 Ministries
